Summer Drive June 2004
Some pictures from out "Summer Drive" in June.
10 Cars eventually turned up and all stayed together for the 50plus mile drive through some lovely countryside. The visit was to
Mick Dowson's Pub (The 5 bells) in Great Cornard and he saved a special space for all his friends.
Mick is a member of our club but due to commitments of running a pub, does not get chance to get out much so we visited him. We had a
great time with drinks all round (under the legal limit of course) and left around 10:30pm for the blat home along the A12.
I kept up with them for most of the way but as this was the longest drive I've been on so far, I didn't want to push it too much.
Can't wait for next month to get out with the club, it was a great feeling driving in convoy and it made a lot of passer's by smile.
