12th July 2009 - Cotswold's Rally
This was an event orgainised by the Cotswold's Area following the historic route of the "Corinium Run" Rally.
This was originally run as a resurrection of the economy run format, formerly run as the Mobilgas Economy Run from the '50s to the '70s.
The event takes its name “Corinium Run” from the Roman name for our Club’s home town of Cirencester, one of the largest Roman towns outside of London.
Overall with traveling there doing the rally and driving back over 300 miles in one day.
I was surprised how comfortable the car was considering the amount of time spent in it ( Over 7 Hours ).
There was a prize for the cleanest car and guess what your Area Organiser won 1st prize.
Both the sponge and Bucket have come in useful and have been used many times since wining.
If anyone wants the full route details then please don't hesitate to contact me.
